Alex Fernando

FOUNDER
Alex has 20 years of experience working across a variety of high-risk industries across Europe, Asia and Australia in both consulting and leadership roles. His experience encompasses transport, FMCG, oil & gas, mining and manufacturing sectors.
Alex’s consulting experience has exposed him to complex and adaptive organisational systems within which he has developed and executed safety improvement initiatives from leadership and governance to learning and development and frontline engagement.
Alex holds a B. Engineering, B. Science and MBA, Monash.
Warren Smith

FOUNDER
Warren has a background in operations management, organisation development, HR management, leadership and culture development. His expertise in safety performance improvement has been developed over two decades working with large and medium sized enterprises to help them define a pragmatic path to safety performance improvement.
His specialist areas of competence include serious injury & fatality exposure management, leadership development and behaviour change, safety governance and systems alignment, and the human factors associated with error and reliability.
Warren holds a B. Arts.
Ian Brown

TECHNICAL ADVISOR
Ian has held senior HSE advisor roles in the mining industry for over 20 years. Most recently as a corporate HSE systems, risk and assurance specialist within Newcrest Mining. During this time he worked closely on the implementation and management of programs for fatality prevention, critical and enterprise risk, and 2nd line HSE assurance.
He has developed a deep practical working knowledge of HSE management and data systems, and corporate reporting.
Ian holds a B. Science (Geology), Dip. Management and Grad. Dip. (OHS Management).
Liz Seaward

TECHNICAL ADVISOR
Liz is an experienced senior Health and Safety Professional with a strong HR and Organisation Change background. She brings significant experience working in both senior and operational roles within work health and safety, organisation development, HR and quality management systems.
Liz’s consulting work within work health and safety encompasses a range of industry sectors including councils, aged care, manufacturing, engineering and construction, warehousing, logistics and agriculture.
Liz holds a MA Applied Science (Innovation and Service Management), Grad Dip Occ Hazard Management, B. Arts (Psychology).
